The Donors Forum Library is the Midwest's largest collection of resources on philanthropy, and the second largest in the nation. A cooperating collection of The Foundation Center, the Library holds more than 3,000 volumes on proposal writing, fundraising and nonprofit management, leadership, and governance.
The Library is free and open to the public. It is a self-help library with a small staff dedicated to teaching patrons how to conduct prospect research and access information. At the Library, you will also find free databases for researching individual donors as well as foundations and corporations that provide grants and sponsorships. These include: Donors Forum's Illinois Funding Source, Foundation Directory Online, WealthEngine, and NOZA search.
